Hi, I’m Andrea Evans—founder, breeder, and heart behind Ivy Meadows.

At Ivy Meadows, I raise Toy-sized Australian Shepherds right here on a small farm in beautiful Michigan. Our dogs are part of the family and enjoy plenty of space to run, play, and explore the outdoors.

I run a small, intentional breeding program with a strong focus on quality over quantity. My breeding goals prioritize temperament, conformation, and movement, ensuring our puppies grow into well-rounded, beautiful companions.

All of our parent dogs are health-tested before breeding and receive regular veterinary care. Above all, they are cherished members of our family—and their puppies are raised with the same love and attention.

From the moment our puppies are born, I’m right by their side—literally. I sleep next to the whelping box for at least the first two weeks to provide around-the-clock care and support for both moms and babies.

Each puppy receives:

• ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) from 3 to 16 days old
• Temperament testing at 7 weeks
• Routine deworming, parasite prevention, and age-appropriate vaccinations
• Daily socialization, gentle grooming exposure, and early training to encourage good manners and confidence
• Every pup is raised with love, structure, and a deep commitment to setting them up for lifelong success.

To ensure the best fit for our puppies and their future families, I require a phone or in-person interview before accepting any deposits. After the interview, I’ll provide a copy of our contract to review before placing a deposit. Please note: all deposits are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to a future litter if needed.
